The roundtable discussion on “Advancing Sustainability and SDGs: The Role of Universities in Fostering a Sustainable Future” aims to provide a platform for higher education leaders and decision-makers to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore innovative approaches to advance sustainability and contribute to the SDGs. The discussion will take into consideration different contexts in which universities operate.

During the roundtable participants will explore various areas such as integrating sustainability across curricula, supporting SDGs through research and innovation, implementing sustainable practices on campus, and forging collaborations for local and global impact. Outcomes of Cop28 taking place in the UAE will also be addressed during this roundtable.
