The Global RCE Network is delighted to announce that RCE Youth Art Challenge Exhibition is held at the Global Environment Outreach Centre (GEOC) at the United Nations University in Tokyo, Japan, from 29 March to 30 May 2024, in commemoration of the International Day of Zero Waste on 30 March 2024.

In 2023, the third RCE Youth Art Challenge, themed ‘From Waste to Art’ was organised by the Global RCE Service Centre, headquartered at the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS), in partnership with UNESCO.

The initiative aimed to showcase the artworks submitted by youth under the age of 35 from around the world, inspiring others to utilise resources wisely, reduce waste, and embrace sustainable ways of consumption and production, thereby advancing actions towards achieving Sustainable Development 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production.

The exhibition is open to all visitors, and admission is free of charge. No registration is required.
