The PISA Assessment of Global Competence is providing governments with reliable metrics on how well their school systems help students see the world through different lenses, appreciate different ways of thinking and cultural perspectives, and build agency to live better with themselves, with other people and with the planet.

The OECD Learning Compass provides a tool to redesign curricula so they help building curiosity to open minds, compassion to open hearts, and agency to mobilise cognitive, social and emotional resources. Those are our best weapon against the biggest threats of our times - ignorance – the closed mind, hate – the closed heart, and fear – the enemy of agency.
