Education Task Force
Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection is working to empower K-12 schools and teachers, through the development of a national roadmap, embedding education for Sustainable Development, 21st Century Competence, and Global Citizenship, in the Moroccan school curriculum.
The Foundation is planning to be the host institution of SDSN Morocco and will use its position to mobilize the Moroccan scientific and technological expertise to accelerate problem solving for the 2030 Agenda.
The Foundation has set up an innovative operation, in the Covid-19 context, in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, to enable 1,000 schoolchildren in rural areas to remotely continue their education. Students have benefited from digital tablets rechargeable by mini solar kit incorporating educational programs as well as educational tools to learn about biodiversity.
