The 2023 ASEAN Workshop on Sustainable Development, held at Sunway University in Kuala Lumpur on 21-22 July 2023, resumes the strengthening of ASEAN regional partnership in sustainable development, a process that had been held in abeyance by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we approach the midpoint of the global 2030 UN Agenda for Sustainable Development, Professor Jeffrey Sachs, President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), has drawn up a brainstorming program that will empower participants with ideas to accelerate progress on the SDGs and climate actions to make up for the time lost in the last three years.
This event will update and affirm national strategies for the SDGs ahead of the 2023 SDG Summit and the 2024 Summit for the Future.
Plenary sessions will be livestreamed on the SDSN YouTube channel, and recordings of all sessions will be made available after.
