Climate Change Education for Sustainability: Curriculum development and capacity building in sharing experiences between Korea and ASEAN

Join the Asia School of Business as they welcome Professor Park Tae Yoon, Professor at the Graduate School of Education at Yonsei University and the Director of the Institute of East and West Study, who will share experiences from Korea and ASEAN in curriculum development for climate education.

Prof Park’s research interests and academic publications are around Ecology, Climate Change Education, Environmental Education, Education for Sustainable Development, Science Education, and has also written textbooks for elementary, middle, high schools and universities. He served as the Associate Dean of Graduate School of Education, and was part of numerous committees with the South Korean government, including as a member on the Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development and Committee of Environmental Policy. He is currently also an advisory member of the National Institute of Ecology. He graduated with a PhD in Agricultural Ecology from the University of California, Riverside.
