Over the past few months, more than 15 universities in Mexico, the United States, and Canada have combined forces to find innovative ways to Foster Youth-Led Innovation for the SDGs. As part of Mission 4.7, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University led this group, which organized six workshops from June to October emphasizing the role of youth in driving sustainable development, climate action, and innovation. From these workshops, the group has prepared a report titled Fostering Youth-led Innovations to Accelerate Progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals: A Guide for Policymakers, which will be released at the RewirEd Summit 2023 at COP 28 alongside a panel discussion on the report.
UNFCCC COP 28 accreditation will be needed in order to participate.
