The High-Level Meeting is jointly organized by COP29 Presidency, Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, Azerbaijan; UNESCO, WHO, ILO, UNICEF, World Bank. During the event, a joint statement on The Baku Initiative on Human Development for Climate Resilience and Baku guiding principles on Human Development for Climate Resilience will be announced. This initiative aims to deliver various outcomes on human development, including catalyzing investment in education, skills, health, and well-being, in particular for children and youth, establishing COP-to-COP continuity, and enhancing environmental literacy through education standards.
