Intergenerational Voices: A leadership Model Advancing Change

This round table organized  by Olympes de la Parole Canada (ODPC) explores how the intersection of poverty with geographical location, lack of access to education, technology, social, legal, and economic infrastructures, minoritized status, can negatively affect the empowerment girls and women by preventing them from fulfilling their rights to education, hindering their safety, and placing them in the double vulnerability of domestic violence and marital control that fuels their economic disempowerment and social isolation. This gender equality issue was observed in both urban and rural settings.
