Mainstreaming SDG 4.7: What should every higher education institution aim to be doing?

  • Melbourne, VIC Australia (map)

SDSN AusNZPac and ACTS are excited to launch a joint peer group aiming to support and accelerate member efforts to mainstream education for sustainability and the SDGs within their institutions.

Session 2: Mainstreaming SDG 4.7: What should every higher education institution aim to be doing?

The group is open to any interested staff – from any discipline or institutional area – from an ACTS or SDSN AusNZPac member institution.

New members are invited to join at any time via this signup form.

The group will bring together interested staff, from any discipline or institutional area, to examine how our member institutions are responding to the crucial but difficult challenge of SDG 4.7 to provide all students with the knowledge, skills and mindsets to promote sustainable development.

The aim is to contribute to a roadmap for mainstreaming SDG 4.7 in HEIs, with each session addressing a different aspect of the roadmap.

The group will meet for four virtual Chatham House sessions during 2024 to network, share experiences and good practices, discuss challenges and priorities, and capture recommendations for HEIs in our region.
