Re-imagining Education Conference

The education system was built to feed a predatory economy that is now destroying the planet. Who still wants to be part of that? What can we learn from what has not worked? What can we do differently today? How can we compost our failures into fertile soil? What if we bring our territories, lands, trees, flowers, mountains, oceans, rocks, and subterranean knowledge to this conference?

Join us in re-learning the notion of nature as a teacher to remind us of our territories, our roots, our nutrients, our cultures, our communities, and our history. Together we will explore the wisdom and knowledge of the ecosystems below the surface – the fungi realm, deep roots, clews of earthworms, natural aquifers etc. – as our metaphor for learning. Inviting us to explore how mycelial threads are being connected and sprouts are rising from this connection all over the world.
