Greening Higher Ed: Intersections of Education and Climate Change

This event brings two leaders in the field to discuss challenges and opportunities and how intersections between education and climate change are currently conceptualized. The community will hear from:

  • Beth Johnson, USAID's Office of Education, on advancing climate action in and through education

  • Dr. Christina Kwauk, Unbounded Associates, on a green skills framework

This event sets the stage for a series of community exchanges on the role of higher education in the climate change arena throughout 2022.

Whether you are a student, an educator, or passionate about responding to climate change, this is an opportunity to learn about how higher education can be another tool in combatting climate change. This webinar is presented by USAID's YouthPower 2: Learning and Evaluation Activity, the Higher Education Engagement and Transformation Community of Practice (CoP), a group of youth, practitioners in youth-serving organizations, and policymakers.
