Youth Skills for Peace and Sustainable Development

Celebrating a decade since the establishment of World Youth Skills Day by the United Nations General Assembly, the 2024 event will focus on reviewing and discussing strategies to empower youth with essential skills for a peaceful and sustainable future.

The panel will highlight the pivotal role of youth in shaping inclusive workplaces, and the importance of integrating social and emotional learning to enhance empathy, resilience, and conflict resolution. Additionally, discussions will explore expanding global citizenship education at all educational levels, including TVET, to prepare youth as proactive agents of change in tackling global challenges.
