Creative classroom approaches for Climate Justice

This session is for all teachers who would like to introduce or deepen their existing practice in teaching for Climate Justice. Participants who have attended previous CJE courses will recognise a few of the activities, and will also experience some new approaches.

  • what Climate Justice is and how to make this accessible for children and young people

  • how to develop critical thinking around CJ issues using images and videos

  • what eco/climate anxiety is and how we can address this

  • activities from the Quakers' new 'Make Polluters Pay?' resource

  • arts-based methods for taking action and making a difference with Christian Aid
