The Transforming Education Summit was convened to release more fully the transformative potential of education and to tackle critical challenges identified in Our Common Agenda, including issues of equity, education obstacles faced by girls and young women, the transition from education to employment, and the promotion of lifelong learning and reskilling.

Where do these efforts stand now? What was achieved and learned at the Summit? What steps identified there can and must be acted on now? This off-the-record session, the sixth in a series of monthly dialogues focused on Our Common Agenda, will provide an opportunity for participants to explore how best to answer, in practical and concrete terms, the call of the Secretary-General to “forge a common vision for education.”
