The Global Conference on Sustainable Development is the first international conference organized by the Hong Kong Chapter of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

It aims to enable exchanges among academia, philanthropy, civil society institutions, the government and the private sector on the challenges and opportunities, as well as the way forward, in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals adopted.

A session on Education for Sustainable Development will take place from 2-3pm on the second day, featuring SDG Academy Director Patrick Paul Walsh; Mission 4.7 Task Force member Prof. Charles Hopkins, UNESCO Chair at York University; and Sherlina Kaur, Education Manager at the SDG Academy.
