Global Citizenship Connections: Eco-Innovations

  • 475 Riverside Drive New York, NY, 10115 United States (map)

As we embark on the path towards COP 28 in Dubai, UAE, it is our belief that the discussions that take place during this series must serve as our proverbial start line. The series represents the beginning of continuing efforts to catalyze work on Mission 4.7 and advances the UNESCO initiative on education for sustainable development. The webinar series will contribute to the development of a white paper on sustainability education, which will be presented at COP28, emphasizing the need to link educational systems with youth leadership for climate action.

To continue the series titled “Fostering Youth-Led Innovation for the SDGs”, we invite like-minded organizations, individuals to share:

  • Course design and curriculums fostering global citizenship education and education for sustainable development at higher education institutions and k-12.

  • Share cross-subjects networks across educational landscapes.

  • Contribute to our Youth led policy document for COP28

  • Share best practices and national policy initiatives on youth-led eco-innovations.

Join the webinar here.

This workshop series is designed to further the collaboration between 15+ institutions, including higher education institutions in Canada, United States and Mexico, led by the Center for Sustainable Development, Climate School at Columbia University, Mission 4.7, the University of Waterloo, Canada, and UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, USA.
