The 11th Americas RCE Regional Meeting will be held in Salisbury, Maryland (USA) from 3-5 October, 2022, under the theme 'Now, More than Ever! The RCE Network as a Peace Leader!'.
The Americas RCE Regional Meeting will provide a regional platform to discuss, debate and launch activities that reinforce the fundamental role that education plays in achieving a sustainable future in the region. The meeting also aims to take stock of regional initiatives, including the role of ESD in implementing sustainable development on the ground in the Americas region. RCE Salisbury, housed by the Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution, will be the host of this event.
Regional Centres of Expertise on ESD (RCEs) are a global network of multi-sectoral and interdisciplinary members who work together to create solutions to sustainability challenges through dialogue, education and learning. The Global RCE Network is managed by the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS), with funding support from the Ministry of the Environment, Japan.
