The role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is more critical than ever.

Join UNITAR, UNESCO, and more at HLPF 2024 official in-person side event titled "Higher Education Institutions as Critical Partners in Design and Delivery of Sustainable Resilient and Innovative Solutions” to explore how HEIs can drive sustainable, resilient, and innovative solutions.

This event will provide an opportunity for HEIs to share key insights, expertise and messages with policy-makers and other stakeholders through a joint statement from the Presidents and Rectors on the role of higher education. Higher education representatives and policy-makers will then exchange their views and perspectives through a dialogue that will aim to bring the two communities closer together and identify concrete solutions for HEIs and governments to work on.
