Learn how to #MakeClimateAClass

How can we reach beyond the couple dozen students on our campuses who choose to study climate change, and instead engage hundreds (or thousands) to move beyond climate despair to climate repair?

The Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice invites you to learn how to #MakeClimateAClass. At this webinar, you will also learn how to participate in the Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice, set for March 29, 2023.

Climate change touches every field—from art to business, philosophy to science. Our courses can inspire students to see how they can be leaders in the critical work ahead to stabilize the climate. Learn how to encourage your colleagues to #MakeClimateAClass or #Co-TeachForClimate by devoting 30 minutes of their regular class time this spring to a discussion of how their field contributes to the understanding of climate change, climate solutions or climate justice.

At our 9 PM webinar, we will be joined by Bethany Woodworth of the University of New England who organized a workshop entitled "Connect a Class to Climate Change and Climate Justice". Bethany emphasized that when trying to encourage all teachers to talk about climate, “we aren't asking them to change their classes, but rather to use climate issues to accomplish their existing learning objectives for the class.”

Join the webinar at either 10am and 9pm ET.
