The Southeast Asian Higher Education Summit, or SEAHES, is a summit organised by public universities in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), Council of the Heads of Teaching and Learning Centers of Malaysian Public Universities (MAGNETIC) and the Council of e-Learning for Malaysian Public Universities (MEIPTA) since 2015.

This summit is organised to provide a platform for sharing best practices in the development and excellence of teaching and learning (TnL) that encompasses aspects of academic leadership, innovations, flexible education, and sustainability of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

The theme of SEAHES 2023 is “Innovation, Ethics and Civilization: Higher Education in Southeast Asia.” The Summit intends to achieve the following objectives:

• To establish continuous cooperation with HEIs of ASEAN countries.

• To discuss global issues and challenges, sharing of strategies and interventions practised.

•  To develop resolutions toward the direction of implementation in the aspect of academic leadership, TnL innovations, flexible education, and sustainability of higher education among the ASEAN community.
