Organised by Sunway College Pre-University Studies, the Sunway Conference on Learning and Teaching (SCLT) is a platform for educators involved in all levels of education to share their knowledge, insights and best practices in the teaching and learning space. By bringing together both local and regional practitioners with a common interest, SCLT also provides an excellent opportunity to network and make meaningful connections.

SCLT 2022 will be held on 20 August 2022. Due to circumstances arising from the global pandemic, the Conference will be delivered online. We invite participants from all areas of teaching and learning to join us for an exciting day of discourse, enquiry and discovery as we explore the theme 'Education for a Sustainable Future'.

This theme explores the role of education in empowering learners with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that align with the goals of sustainable development and ultimately the building of a sustainable future. Sub-themes include:

  • Sustainability and the curriculum

  • Emerging issues in global education

  • Rethinking learning in a virtual environment

  • Pedagogies to build 21st century skills

  • Assessing learning in a new normal

  • Innovative and interactive teaching practices
