Teaching, Thriving, and the Sustainable Development Goals

  • South Dakota State University Brookings, SD USA (map)

Join AASHE for an interactive workshop with Casey Meehan, Director of Sustainability and Resilience at Western Technical College, Associate Lecturer at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and leader of the Driftless Region Sustainability in Education Project, on incorporating concepts of environmental, social, and economic sustainability into your courses. At the end of the workshop, you will have integration tools, assessment strategies, and personalized action steps to take what you’ve learned into reality. In addition, there will be time to explore SDSU sustainability efforts, hear from faculty who have successfully integrated sustainability into their courses, and have access to a resource-filled website specifically made for you and this program!

Register by April 28!

Driftless Region Sustainability in Education Project is one of the regional AASHE Centers for Sustainability Across the Curriculum. Centers host workshops and other professional development opportunities throughout the year.
