Hosted by IVECA International Virtual Schooling in collaboration with Kyunghee University (South Korea), Long Island University - Post (USA), and Shobhit University (India), this event will run in parallel with the UN HLPF. In support of this agenda, this Virtual Conference on Global Citizenship Fostering Greening Education Partnership (GEP) for Sustainable Environment aims to emphasize the importance of global citizenship among young students, encouraging their collaboration to create a greener and cleaner Earth. This conference will bring together representatives from the UN system, NGOs, civil society, and universities to foster partnerships and collective action toward a more sustainable world.
The IVECA-GEP (iGEP) Virtual Conference aspires to mobilize young students, universities, and various stakeholders in fostering a collective commitment to working on environmental issues through global citizenship. By sharing best practices, fostering collaboration, and developing actionable strategies, this conference seeks to contribute to a resilient and sustainable world, in alignment with the United Nations' vision and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Empowered to collaborate on local environmental issues through multi-stakeholder mentorships, the youth presenters will demonstrate how digitally facilitated GEP can expedite global impact on cleaning water and building eco-friendly sustainable cities. Panelists will discuss further how diverse stakeholders can contribute to scaling up such projects.
