Step into a transformative educational experience with UN at Your Doorstep! This groundbreaking initiative connects today’s global leaders with tomorrow’s changemakers in a series of live online dialogues focused on tackling the world’s most pressing sustainable development challenges.
Designed for high school assemblies, extra-curricular activities, Model UN clubs, community NGOs, and traditional classrooms, these dialogues offer a rare opportunity for young people ages 14+ to engage directly with world leaders and UN officials. Together, they’ll explore solutions to the biggest issues of our time, from peace and security to climate change, poverty, inequality, environmental sustainability, and the rise of artificial intelligence.
Moderated by Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs and select guest moderators, UN at Your Doorstep provides a vibrant forum for engagement and inspiration. Here, young people will lead global discussions, enriching their educational journeys with real-world insights and perspectives.
The first UN at Your Doorstep live session features Felipe Paullier, United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs, and Richa Gupta, Young Leader for the SDGs and Co-founder and CEO of Labhya, allowing young people and their educators to engage in a dialogue on what concrete actions young people can take to contribute to driving global-scale change to end poverty, save the environment, and to living peacefully and cooperatively.
